Online Visa & Passport Photo Maker (2x2 Inch / 35x45mm)

1Embassy Biometric Geometries & Strict Sizing Tolerances

Visa and passport application rejections occur most frequently due to non-compliant biometric photographs. Embassies utilize automated computer vision scanning to measure exact facial ratios: the distance from the bottom of the chin to the top of the head (crown), horizontal eye-line centering, and background chromaticity. If your head occupies less than 50% or more than 69% of the frame on a US visa application, the DS-160 automated system will immediately reject the file.

FileZenith's Visa Photo Maker incorporates real-time biometric guideline overlays conforming to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO Doc 9303) and US Department of State standards. By aligning your face with the dashed oval, eye level, and chin markers, you guarantee strict mathematical compliance.

• US Visa / DS-160: Exact 2x2 inches (51x51mm / 600x600 px @ 300 DPI) with pure white background and 50-69% head height.
• Schengen Visa: 35x45mm standard with 70-80% face coverage (32-36mm chin-to-crown) and neutral light grey background.
• UK Visitor Visa: 35x45mm with plain cream or light grey background, zero shadows, and neutral facial expression.

2Comprehensive Embassy Photo Sizing & Biometric Matrix

Different consulates enforce vastly contrasting dimensions, background shades, and face proportions. The table below details official consular requirements across primary global jurisdictions:

34x6 Inch Printable Sheet Economics vs. Commercial Studio Pricing

When submitting hard-copy passport applications at embassy collection centers (such as VFS Global or passport offices), candidates are frequently charged exorbitant studio fees for physical prints. FileZenith includes an integrated 4x6 inch (1200x1800 px @ 300 DPI) sheet generator that arranges 6 identical, millimeter-precise passport photos with cutting margins on a single sheet.

You can take this file to any local pharmacy or photo kiosk and print all 6 photos on standard photo paper for mere pennies.

• High DPI Rasterization: Full 300 DPI resolution ensures pin-sharp physical prints with zero pixelation.
• Cutting Grid: Integrated 1px guide lines make scissor or rotary trimmer cuts perfectly uniform.
• Multi-Country Switcher: Effortlessly toggle between US, Schengen, UK, Canada, and Indian OCI specifications.

4Lighting, Attire & Contrast Rules for Embassy Verification

Embassies reject photos with severe flash shadows behind the ears or washed-out skin tones. Stand approximately 3 to 4 feet in front of a flat, smooth wall in bright, indirect daylight.

Wear attire that contrasts with the background (e.g., navy blue, black, or dark grey shirts). Do not wear white clothing when applying for US or Canadian visas, as white-on-white blends your shoulders into the background and triggers automated segmentation failures.
